  • How deep do you grind the stump?
We grind 6–12 inches below grade, which is enough to lay sod, plant grass, or pour a slab over the area.
  • What happens to the wood chips?
Your call. Most customers want them hauled off; some want them left to use as mulch. We'll ask before we start.
  • Can you grind multiple stumps at once?
Yes, and there's usually a discount for whole-yard cleanups. The setup time is the same whether it's one stump or six.
  • Will my yard be torn up after?
There's a small ring of disturbed soil where the stump was, but no heavy ruts. We can rake it level if you're going to seed or sod after.
