  • How do I know if I need a drainage system?
If water pools in your yard after rain, runs toward your foundation, or stays soggy for days, you need drainage. Foundation settling and damaged landscaping are downstream problems of bad drainage.
  • What's the difference between a french drain and a surface drain?
A french drain handles water in the soil — a gravel-filled trench with perforated pipe that collects subsurface water. A surface drain (catch basin) handles water on top of the ground — like a low spot or a hardscape area that pools.
  • How long does an install take?
A typical residential french drain along one side of a house is 1–2 days. Larger systems with multiple tie-ins and catch basins take longer. We give you a realistic timeline with the quote.
  • Will my lawn recover?
Yes. We backfill carefully and restore the surface — sod can go right back over the trench line once we're done.
